Down on the Ground

This was probably supposed to be our plane. It's the one that was likely canceled, causing the long wait. With the kids. Gate-hopping. Sophie and Nick had the most fun reminding me just how remarkable the plane's tail resembles a certain special bit of our cat's anatomy. That was good for 15 minutes of "shhh, not so loud" rants right there.

Now that I've said that, you'll never be able to look at a plane's rear the same way again. I'm sorry for that, but I don't regret it. I do love this photo, the illustration of a busy airport, the gear that goes into launching these magical flying machines into the air, the story that this one, waiting, lumbering air bus is telling: no cash on board, Visa and MasterCard only, please.
